Ideal for restoring yellowed, oxidized, and weathered lenses, this high-solids, UV-blocking formula provides a durable, paint-shop-quality clear finish at a fraction of the cost of headlight replacement.

The coating restores a crystal-clear appearance while providing a protective barrier against UV exposure, oxidation, and environmental weathering. When properly prepared and applied, Majestic Solutions Headlight Lens Clear Coat delivers professional results and long-lasting durability.

DIRECTIONS:

Clean the headlight and surrounding area thoroughly to remove dirt and debris. Mask the headlight and adjacent painted surfaces using masking tape or headlight masking film. If using masking film, carefully trim around the lens without cutting or damaging the headlight or surrounding paint.

Remove all yellowing, oxidation, haze, and deteriorated factory coating by sanding the lens. Finish with 600–1000 grit sandpaper, either by hand or with a short-throw dual-action sander. Sand the entire lens thoroughly until the surface has a consistent, uniform sanding pattern with no remaining glossy, yellowed, or oxidized areas.

Remove all sanding residue and wipe the lens with a clean, lint-free microfiber towel and isopropyl alcohol. The surface must be completely clean, dry, and free of dust, oils, waxes, silicones, and other contaminants before coating.

Shake can thoroughly for 1–2 minutes before application. Holding the can approximately 4–6 inches from the lens, apply one thin, even tack coat. Follow with a slightly heavier wet coat, using a smooth, steady motion and maintaining a consistent spray distance. Avoid excessive buildup, which may cause runs or sags.

When properly applied, the lens should appear smooth and crystal clear. If additional coverage is required or the lens appears cloudy, allow 5–10 minutes of flash time between coats before applying another coat.

For best results, apply in a clean, well-ventilated area and protect the freshly coated lens from moisture, dust, and contamination while the coating cures.

For use on exterior plastic headlight lenses. Not intended to correct moisture, discoloration, or damage located on the inside of the headlight assembly.
