SRF-1 (RTV Silicone Remover)

Description

Majestic Solutions’ Silicone Removal Formula 1 (SRF-1) is a state-of-the-art, fast acting solution that quickly breaks down cured RTV silicone on metal sealing surfaces. SRF-1 greatly reduces cleanup and prep time for reassembly and eliminates the need for sharp or abrasive prep tools, which can damage “machine fit” sealing surfaces. SRF-1 is safe for all metals and most painted, lacquer, acrylic, and synthetic enamel finishes. SRF-1 is the professional choice for factory and aftermarket silicone removal. To use: Apply SRF-1 directly to cured RTV silicone and allow to dwell for 20–30 seconds. Wipe with a clean cloth or remove using a plastic razor blade. Use caution near adjacent sealing surfaces to prevent unintended silicone removal. SRF-1 may be sprayed directly onto the surface or onto a cloth. Multiple applications or extended dwell time may be required. For best results, clean sealing surfaces with Majestic Solutions Brake Wash, allow to dry completely, then reapply RTV silicone and reassemble.
